On Wednesday 17 December the FC Utrecht Christmas show took place. This online show took place in Stadion Galgenwaard and was broadcasted by RTV Utrecht under the title ‘Diner along with the FC’.

Because of COVID-19 it was not possible to hold a physical gathering for the lonely elderly this year. FC Utrecht, TV broadcaster RTV Utrecht and the sponsors joined forces to give the elderly in the entire province a special Christmas event after all. The elderly could now watch the event live from home instead of the traditional Christmas dinner, which FC Utrecht has been organizing for many years (in cooperation with, among others, the Blygold Foundation). Besides the show, the elderly were surprised with a three-course Christmas menu that was delivered to 600 locations in the province.

The Blygold Foundation feels honored to give the elderly a less lonely Christmas in this way.
